About

In the intricate dance of relationships, Tim Mallory, LMFT, serves as a skilled choreographer, guiding couples through the complex steps of connection and conflict resolution. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Tim's passion lies in helping couples create the relationship they've always dreamed of, whether they're just starting their journey together or navigating the choppy waters of long-term partnership.

Tim's expertise is particularly evident in his work with high-conflict couples, where he creates a safe and respectful environment for both partners to be fully heard. His approach is rooted in the belief that most couples agree on far more than they initially realize. By employing a combination of solution-focused, emotion-focused, and systems-oriented processes, Tim helps couples recognize opportunities for meaningful growth and develop the skills necessary to manage conflict effectively.

With advanced training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy (Level I) and certification as a PICK 9.0 Instructor, Tim brings a wealth of evidence-based techniques to his practice. His specialties include premarital counseling, where he helps couples build a strong foundation for their future together, and supporting adults through life transitions, offering guidance and tools to navigate unexpected challenges and day-to-day struggles.

Tim's educational background includes a Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Indiana Wesleyan University. He is also a Prepare/Enrich Facilitator and a Great Start Facilitator, with experience in both Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Imago relationship therapies. This diverse skillset allows him to tailor his approach to each couple's unique needs and goals.

As a married father of two, Tim understands firsthand the importance of practical and efficient therapeutic resources. He brings this personal insight into his professional work, ensuring that the strategies and tools he provides are not only effective but also realistic for couples to implement in their daily lives. Tim's goal is to help couples not just survive, but thrive, growing together through the challenges they face and building a stronger, more fulfilling relationship.
