With a unique blend of European and American psychological training, Dr. Silvana Loka brings a wealth of experience to her practice as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist at Sejdaras Psy.D & Associates. Her approach, rooted in 20 years of diverse experience, combines evidence-based therapies with holistic counseling to help clients discover their true identity and purpose.

Dr. Loka specializes in treating anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges, with a particular focus on working with teenagers, adults, and couples. Her therapeutic toolkit includes Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, and relational psychodynamic approaches. Relocating from Europe in 2019, Dr. Loka brought with her a doctorate in psychological counseling and extensive experience working with vulnerable communities. Her background includes teaching psychology courses and holding positions such as Head of Department of Psychology and Dean of Students. This diverse experience informs her current practice, where she works with clients both online and in-person in Chicago, Philadelphia, and other states.
