Robin L. Carosella

Dr. Robin L. Carosella brings a wealth of experience in clinical health psychology to her role as Assistant Director at the Center for Integrative Psychotherapy. With a specialized focus on mood and anxiety disorders, as well as couples therapy, Dr. Carosella offers a comprehensive approach to mental health care that integrates biological, psychological, and social aspects of each individual's wellbeing.

A staunch advocate for integrated healthcare, Dr. Carosella believes in the powerful connection between mind and body. Her passion for clinical health psychology stems from this holistic perspective, recognizing that mental and physical health are inextricably linked. This approach allows her to develop a thorough understanding of each client's unique circumstances, leading to more effective and personalized treatment plans.

Dr. Carosella's extensive training includes a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she also completed a Post-Doctoral Residency specializing in clinical health psychology and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Her experience spans various settings, including hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and outpatient clinics, equipping her with a diverse skill set to address a wide range of psychological needs.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Carosella contributes to the academic community as an adjunct professor at Cedar Crest College in Allentown. This dual role as practitioner and educator allows her to stay at the forefront of psychological research and practice, ensuring that her clients receive the most current, evidence-based treatments available.
