As the founder and CEO of Indiana Counseling & Resilience Center, Heather brings nearly two decades of experience to her role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), National Certified Counselor (NCC), Certified EMDR Therapist, and Certified EMDRIA Consultant in Training (CIT).

Heather's expertise lies in helping adults, teens, and couples heal from past and recent trauma, navigate the complexities of modern life, and break free from limiting family patterns. Her direct yet supportive approach in therapy, combined with her mastery of EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy, has helped countless clients experience profound shifts in negative thought patterns.

With a strong belief in evidence-based approaches, Heather has cultivated a diverse skill set to address a wide range of client needs. Her extensive training includes certification in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mind-Body Medicine, and the innovative Flash Technique. She is also well-versed in various family therapy modalities, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).

Heather's commitment to high-quality counseling extends beyond her own practice. She has significant experience in supervising and training fellow therapists in both school and clinic environments, ensuring that the standard of care she upholds is passed on to the next generation of mental health professionals.
