With over six years of specialized experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum, Stephens Whitehurst, CRC, MS, LCMHC, ASDCS, brings a wealth of knowledge and a compassionate approach to her therapeutic practice. Her extensive background in working with developmental disabilities, intellectual disabilities, psychiatric disorders, and co-occurring conditions sets her apart as a versatile and skilled clinician.

Stephens' educational foundation is impressive, having earned a Master of Science in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling with a dual concentration in developmental and psychiatric disorders from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. This specialized training, combined with her undergraduate triple major in psychology, sociology, and criminology from Meredith College, provides her with a multifaceted understanding of human behavior and mental health.
