About
With a compassionate and trauma-informed approach, Shar Goolsby brings a unique perspective to her therapeutic practice, specializing in healing the wounds of both childhood and adult trauma. As a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and Certified Mental Health Counselor (CMHC) pre-licensed professional, Shar is dedicated to creating a safe, judgement-free space for clients to explore their deepest concerns and work towards optimal mental and emotional health.
Shar's integrative approach draws from a variety of counseling services to meet the unique needs of her clients. She offers individual therapy, couples counseling, and group therapy, with a particular focus on addressing issues such as childhood and adult trauma, PTSD, and grief and loss. Her background in healthcare has instilled in her a deep awareness of the mind-body-spirit connection, allowing her to provide holistic care that addresses imbalances across all aspects of a client's well-being.
Having received special training to meet the needs of service members, veterans, and their families, Shar brings a nuanced understanding to the unique challenges faced by military communities.
