As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Cleveland State University, Sara believes that individuals are more than the sum of their experiences. Sara employs a holistic, culturally sensitive, and strengths-based approach to address a wide range of issues. Her expertise spans trauma, adjustment difficulties, anxiety, depression, PTSD, stress, and life transitions. To meet the unique needs of each individual, Sara utilizes a variety of techniques, with particular proficiency in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and person-centered therapy.

Sara's diverse background enhances her ability to connect with clients from all walks of life. Prior to her counseling career, she worked in various settings with children, women, and underserved populations, including low-income seniors, formerly homeless individuals, and veterans. This rich tapestry of experience informs her practice, allowing her to bring a nuanced understanding to her therapeutic relationships.

Education has played a pivotal role in shaping Sara's approach. In addition to her master's degree, she holds a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Southern Illinois University.
