As an EMDR Trained Therapist with a rich background in trauma-focused work, Samar is dedicated to helping individuals navigate life's challenges and achieve healthier, more fulfilling relationships.

Samar's diverse educational background includes a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Bradley University and a Master's in Homeopathic Medicine from India. This distinctive combination allows her to approach therapy from a whole-person perspective, addressing both mental and physical symptoms. Her professional journey includes three years of work experience in India, followed by five years of trauma-focused work with children, adults, and families involved with Child Protective Services in the United States.

Specializing in trauma therapy, Samar has a deep understanding of how traumatic experiences can profoundly impact various aspects of life. She is currently expanding her expertise by studying the interrelation between trauma and addictive behaviors at Life Balance Counseling Peoria. As a graduate of an accredited program for Adoption competency, Samar brings specialized knowledge to her work with adoptive families and individuals navigating the complexities of adoption.

Samar's personal experience as a first-generation immigrant from India, combined with her clinical background in adoption, trauma, and cancer care, gives her a unique perspective on cultural challenges.
