About

With a passion for hearing people's stories and a deep-rooted commitment to integrating Christian faith into counseling practice, Rebekah Wilson, LCSW, has been a beacon of support for individuals, couples, and families for over two decades. Her journey in the field of mental health is marked by a unique blend of clinical expertise and spiritual insight, offering a holistic approach to healing and personal growth.

Rebekah's professional journey began with her graduate degree in social work from the University of Tennessee, followed by licensure in 2002. Her early career exposed her to diverse clinical settings, including acute inpatient and outpatient mental health services. This experience sparked a realization of the need for deeper, more comprehensive healing approaches, leading her to pursue additional training in biblical counseling. This pivotal decision shaped her distinctive approach, seamlessly integrating evidence-based psychological practices with Christian principles.

Throughout her 23-year career, Rebekah has worn many hats, each contributing to her well-rounded expertise. She spent thirteen years as a pastor and clinical director at Fellowship Church's Biblical Life Counseling Center, overseeing women's counseling, marriage counseling, and biblical integration training. This role not only honed her clinical skills but also deepened her understanding of the intersection between faith and mental health. Her experience extends to private practice and directing a ministry called Moms N More, where she focused on equipping young families with crucial parenting and marriage resources.

Rebekah's therapeutic approach is as diverse as her experience. She employs an integrative model tailored to each client's needs, drawing from a biblical counseling framework while incorporating attachment theory, cognitive behavioral therapy, developmental psychology, narrative therapy, and trauma-informed care. Her expertise in family systems theory, Emotionally Focused Couple's Therapy, and Gottman Method couple's therapy makes her particularly adept at navigating complex relational dynamics. Additionally, her Prepare and Enrich certification equips her to provide specialized premarital and marital counseling.

In her practice, Rebekah specializes in a wide range of areas, including anxiety, blended family dynamics, care for pastors and ministry leaders, couple's counseling, family counseling, life transitions, parent coaching, post-divorce care, spiritual issues, trauma, and women's issues. This broad spectrum of expertise allows her to offer comprehensive support to clients facing various life challenges.

At Willow Springs Counseling, Rebekah continues to offer her wealth of experience and compassionate approach to those seeking guidance and healing. Her commitment to fostering a safe, nurturing environment where clients can explore personal insights, cope with change, and grow in their relationships remains at the heart of her practice. Whether working with individuals navigating personal struggles or couples seeking to strengthen their bond, Rebekah brings a unique combination of professional acumen and faith-based wisdom to each session, helping clients move towards wholeness and resilience.
