With over two decades of experience in the healing profession, Nicole Sirko, LPC, brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role as a Licensed Professional Counselor and owner of Sunlight Counseling PLLC in Virginia. Her journey through various therapeutic settings, including outpatient therapy, residential facilities, and community-based treatment, has honed her skills in addressing a wide range of mental health concerns for adults.

Nicole's approach to therapy is rooted in a person-centered and strengths-based philosophy, creating a nonjudgmental space where clients can gain insight into their life circumstances. Nicole's educational background includes a BA in Psychology from Duquesne University and a Master's Degree in Counseling from Old Dominion University. She has furthered her expertise through specialized training in anxiety, mindfulness, trauma, self-regulation, mood disorders, and self-compassion. Her experience extends beyond individual practice, having worked in supervisory capacities as both a clinical supervisor for counselors seeking licensure and in clinical director positions in community settings.
