Michele Long

With a passion for nurturing mental health across generations, Michele Long, APRN, FNP-BC brings a wealth of experience to her psychiatric practice. Her journey in healthcare began with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Charleston in 2003, laying a strong foundation in patient care. Building on this, Michele pursued advanced studies, earning her Master's of Science in Nursing with a specialty in Family Nurse Practitioner from Marshall University in 2012.

Michele's diverse background spans multiple healthcare settings, including hospitals and outpatient clinics, allowing her to develop a comprehensive understanding of patient needs across various environments. This breadth of experience has honed her ability to provide personalized care to individuals from all walks of life.

While Michele has treated patients of all age groups throughout her career, she has discovered a particular affinity for working with children, adolescents, and young adults. This specialization allows her to make a significant impact during crucial developmental stages, addressing mental health concerns early and effectively.

Currently, Michele welcomes new patients aged 6 and up for psychiatric evaluations and medication management. Her approach combines her extensive nursing background with specialized psychiatric knowledge, ensuring a holistic and compassionate treatment experience for each client.
