Embracing the power of narratives and systemic perspectives, Meredith Dolinar brings a fresh approach to therapy that recognizes the intricate web of relationships shaping our lives. As a Marriage and Family Therapy Graduate Intern, Meredith is dedicated to walking alongside individuals, couples, and families on their journey towards positive change and self-discovery.

Meredith's therapeutic philosophy is rooted in the belief that no individual is inherently problematic. Instead, she views challenges as the result of complex interactions between environment, circumstances, and relationships. This holistic perspective allows her to create a safe, judgment-free space where clients can explore their worlds and gain deeper understanding of themselves.

In her sessions, Meredith employs narrative and systemic approaches to help clients uncover their strengths and identify resources that can foster meaningful change. She works collaboratively with her clients, guiding them towards their goals while respecting their unique experiences and perspectives. Meredith's favorite quote from Robert Frost, "The best way out is always through," encapsulates her belief in facing challenges head-on and persevering through difficult times.

Currently pursuing her Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy at Capella University, Meredith builds upon a solid foundation with a B.S. in Psychology and a minor in Child and Family Studies from Northwest Missouri State University. This educational background equips her with a comprehensive understanding of human behavior and family dynamics, enhancing her ability to support clients effectively.

As part of her commitment to making mental health services accessible, Meredith currently offers therapy at no cost on Thursdays and Fridays. This opportunity allows her to gain valuable experience while providing much-needed support to those who might otherwise struggle to access mental health services. Meredith's eagerness to embark on this therapeutic journey with her clients reflects her passion for the field and her dedication to fostering positive change in people's lives.
