Fluent in both English and Spanish, Luis offers bilingual services that cater to a diverse clientele, ensuring that language barriers never impede the therapeutic process.

Luis's educational journey reflects his diverse interests and dedication to understanding the human experience. He holds a B.A. in Psychology and Spanish from the University of Nevada, Reno, complemented by an M.A. in Philosophy and an M.A. in Counseling from the same institution. This multidisciplinary background equips him with a holistic approach to therapy, allowing him to draw from various perspectives when working with clients.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Luis works with individuals of all ages, couples, and families, addressing a wide range of presenting concerns. His professional experience has taken him to different areas of the community, with a particular fondness for working with adolescents and exploring the dynamic family component within that population.

Luis's true passion lies in the field of sexual health. He is currently pursuing certification as a sex therapist through the Sexual Health Alliance (SHA) and the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT). This specialized training allows him to work with individuals on various aspects of sexual health, including desire discrepancy, values differences, and sexual dysfunction. Luis is also experienced in working with LGBTQIA individuals and those who are part of communities that practice kink, BDSM, and consensual nonmonogamy, offering a safe and non-judgmental space for all clients.
