As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervisory designation (LPCC-S), Leah brings a wealth of experience to her practice, having worked with individuals across the lifespan—from children and teens to adults—from diverse backgrounds.

Leah's journey in mental health began at Ohio University, where she earned both her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and her Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health and Rehabilitation Counseling. Her professional experience includes several years as a community-based family therapist at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, where she honed her skills in navigating complex family dynamics and supporting individuals through challenging circumstances.

With a strong belief that growth is a collaborative process, Leah focuses on building upon her clients' existing strengths while providing support, validation, and practical tools to achieve their goals. Her approach is characterized by a deep sense of empathy and a genuine commitment to her clients' well-being. Previous clients have noted that sessions with Leah bring a sense of calm and true connection, appreciating her authentic care and dedication.

Leah's expertise spans a wide range of areas, including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, trauma and PTSD, life transitions, teen therapy, young adult counseling, parenting support, family therapy, couples therapy, LGBTQ+ issues, and adjustment to medical diagnoses. She is certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), trained in the Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS), and is a Gottman Institute trained couples therapist.

In her practice, Leah emphasizes creativity and flexibility, understanding that each client's needs are unique.
