As a valued member of the kp counseling team since 2023, Kimberly brings a fresh perspective to her work with adolescents and adults alike.

Kimberly's educational background is as diverse as the clients she serves. She holds an Associate of Arts from Rock Valley College, a Bachelor of Science in Human Development from Rockford University, and a Master's in Social Work from the prestigious University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. This comprehensive educational foundation equips her with a multifaceted understanding of human behavior and development across various life stages.

In her practice, Kimberly specializes in addressing a wide range of issues that can impact mental well-being. Her areas of expertise include relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, emotional struggles, self-destructive behaviors, self-esteem issues, trauma, and other life obstacles. Kimberly's approach is rooted in empathy and validation, recognizing each client as the expert of their own experiences. She sees her role as a therapist as that of a guide, helping clients navigate towards healing and living more fully actualized lives.

Prior to joining kp counseling, Kimberly honed her skills working primarily with children, adolescents, and their families in the Rockford area. This experience has given her valuable insights into family dynamics and the unique challenges faced by young people, making her particularly adept at bridging generational gaps in understanding and communication.
