With over two decades of experience in guiding individuals, couples, and families through life's challenges, Katherine Dean, MEd, LPC, brings a wealth of expertise to her role as a Licensed Professional Counselor. Her journey in the field of mental health began at Clemson University, where she laid a strong foundation with a Bachelor's degree in Sociology, followed by a Master's in Education in Community Counseling.

Since 1997, Katherine has been dedicated to providing compassionate and effective counseling services. Her areas of expertise are diverse, encompassing depression, anxiety, life transitions, stress management, and a special focus on premarital, marital, and blended family issues. As a certified PREP pre-marital trainer, Katherine offers valuable insights for couples embarking on their journey together.

Katherine's professional experience extends beyond individual practice. For a decade, she was one of five owners of a large counseling practice in Greenville, demonstrating her leadership and commitment to expanding mental health services in the community. This background has enriched her understanding of the multifaceted nature of mental health care and the importance of collaborative approaches in therapy.

In her practice, Katherine emphasizes the importance of finding the right therapeutic fit. She understands that the counseling process can evoke mixed emotions and may feel daunting at first. Katherine's expertise also includes corporate consulting. She has served several Employee Assistance Programs, working with employees and management personnel on various corporate needs.
