Specializing in trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and grief and loss, Kara brings a wealth of experience to her diverse practice, which welcomes both children (ages 5 and up) and adults.

Kara's therapeutic approach is rooted in a strengths-based perspective, designed to support clients in feeling empowered throughout their healing journey. She skillfully incorporates techniques from various evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. This integrative approach allows Kara to tailor her interventions to each client's unique needs and goals.

With a strong educational foundation, Kara earned her Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Concordia University Wisconsin and went on to complete her Master's Degree from Lewis University. Her commitment to professional growth is evident in her dual licensure, holding social work licenses in both Illinois and Indiana. This broad base of knowledge and experience enables Kara to offer comprehensive support to clients facing a wide range of challenges.
