As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor, and Certified Daring Way™ Facilitator, Julie offers a welcoming and affirming environment where clients feel understood and safe to address their concerns.

Julie specializes in working with adults and elders, providing both individual and couples counseling. Her practice covers a wide spectrum of issues, including depression, anxiety, grief and loss, relationship challenges (work, social, family, and romantic), and life transitions. With additional training and experience in LGBTQ+ issues, gifted adults and parenting gifted children, geriatric mental health, trauma recovery, and dual diagnosis, Julie offers tailored care to meet diverse needs.

As a Certified EMDR therapist and an EMDR Consultant-in-Training, Julie incorporates evidence-based techniques to support trauma recovery. Her commitment to excellence is evident in every aspect of her care, as she strives to provide ethical, respectful, and caring counseling. Julie's approach is engaging and straightforward, creating an authentic connection with each client.

Julie offers both short-term and long-term counseling options, adapting her services to individual needs. Her expertise extends to specialized areas such as co-dependency, The Daring Way™ and Rising Strong™ programs based on the research of Brené Brown, and addiction and dual diagnosis treatment. She also facilitates group counseling sessions for The Daring Way™ and Rising Strong™ programs.
