Jules Hernandez

Jules Hernandez, MA, LAC, NCC, brings a unique perspective to therapy, specializing in the experiences of first-generation, immigrant, and undocumented individuals. As a Latina and Tucson native, Jules offers a culturally responsive approach that resonates deeply with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Having graduated from the University of Arizona's Masters of Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling program in 2021, Jules combines her academic training with a passionate commitment to creating a safe, welcoming, and non-judgmental space for all clients. Her therapeutic approach is grounded in social justice and non-oppressive lenses, ensuring that each client feels seen, heard, and validated in their unique journey.

Jules employs a variety of therapeutic styles, including Person Centered, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Somatic Experiencing. This eclectic toolkit allows her to tailor her approach to each client's specific needs and goals. She works with adults, teens, and children, addressing a range of issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, racial trauma, ADHD, and self-esteem/confidence concerns.

As an LGBTQ+ friendly and inclusive therapist, Jules welcomes clients of all backgrounds and identities. She believes strongly in the autonomy of each individual to guide their own healing process, with her role being that of a supportive partner in their therapeutic journey. Jules's bilingual capabilities, offering services in both English and Spanish, further expand her ability to connect with and support a diverse clientele.
