As the Vice President of Clinical Strategy and Innovation at The Children's Center Utah, Dr. Mitchell brings a wealth of expertise to her role, specializing in Infant/Early Childhood Mental Health with a particular focus on trauma-informed care.
Dr. Mitchell's impressive credentials include membership in the ZERO TO THREE National Center for Infants, Toddlers, and Families Academy of Fellows, a testament to her commitment to advancing the field. Her extensive training in multiple evidence-based treatments for trauma, coupled with her certifications as a trainer and supervisor in various early childhood models, positions her as a leading voice in the development of comprehensive mental health care for children from birth to six years old.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Mitchell holds an Adjunct Assistant Professor position at the University of Utah's School of Medicine, where she contributes to shaping the next generation of mental health professionals.
