As an ICEEFT Certified Emotionally Focused Therapist & Supervisor, Jeff specializes in couples and family therapy, with a particular focus on supporting the LGBTQIA+ community in the Salt Lake area. His approach is deeply rooted in the science of Secure Attachment, a foundation that has been enriched by his extensive travels to over 40 countries. This global exposure has given Jeff a profound understanding of diverse cultures and beliefs, allowing him to bring a nuanced and inclusive perspective to his practice.

He serves as the Chair of the Northern Utah Emotionally Focused Therapy non-profit community board and shares his knowledge as an Adjunct Professor at Utah State University, where he teaches Emotionally Focused Therapy to second-year Master's students. His expertise has been recognized internationally, as evidenced by his role in the Clinical team for Uganda's EFT Externship in 2023, and his upcoming involvement in Uganda's first EFT Core Skills and Kenya's first EFT Externship in 2024.

Jeff's educational background is robust, with a Master of Social Work degree and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Utah. His nine years of social work practice have been complemented by licensure in both Utah and Washington State, allowing him to serve a broader client base.
