Dr. Goldman's journey in the field began in 1974, working with special needs children and their families. This early experience laid the foundation for her comprehensive approach to family dynamics and individual growth. Her academic pursuits led her to earn a Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2002, followed by a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2004, both completed with magna cum laude honors.
Recognized for her exceptional professional achievement, Dr. Goldman received a "Who's Who" award in 2007, with her name enshrined in a book of professional excellence housed in the Library of Congress. This accolade speaks to her dedication and the impact of her work in the field of mental health.
Dr. Goldman's practice is characterized by her diverse array of specialties and therapeutic approaches. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a powerful technique for treating PTSD and other trauma-related disorders. Additionally, her training from the Anxiety Disorder Research Facility at the School of Psychiatry, Penn State University in Exposure Therapy equips her to effectively treat various anxiety disorders, including OCD.
