Helen's areas of expertise span a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief/loss, identity issues, family conflict, and trauma. Her specialized training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) equips her to work effectively with trauma survivors, while her certification in Prepare & Enrich allows her to offer comprehensive premarital and couples counseling.

With a background in education and community mental health, Helen has extensive experience supporting children, adolescents, and their families. This diverse experience informs her work with clients across different age groups and life stages. Helen's practice is further enriched by her background in church volunteer ministry, making her particularly passionate about working with those in vocational ministry and individuals who may feel disillusioned by church experiences.

Helen's educational background includes a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies from Liberty University, focusing on Communication, Religion, and Government. She holds an MA in Marriage and Family Therapy from Hope International University and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy at the same institution, demonstrating her commitment to ongoing professional development.
