As a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, supervised by Blanca Robles, LPC-S, Genesis brings a unique perspective to her practice, focusing on helping clients address their mental well-being while promoting independence and happiness.

Genesis's passion for teaching others to become self-advocates stems from her extensive experience working with people with disabilities. She specializes in guiding clients through disability adjustment challenges, depression, anxiety, trauma, anger management, grief, and self-esteem issues. Her expertise also extends to helping individuals balance life transitions, adapt to changes, and develop crucial advocacy skills.

With a diverse educational background, Genesis holds a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and a master's degree in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling, both from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley in Edinburg, TX. This multidisciplinary training allows her to offer a holistic approach to mental health, incorporating both physical and psychological aspects of well-being.

Genesis's client base spans a wide range, including adolescents aged 13-17, college students, and adults. She offers individual, family, and group counseling sessions, tailoring her approach to meet the unique needs of each client. Her areas of expertise also include vocational counseling, communication improvement, and addressing relationship issues, making her well-equipped to support clients in various aspects of their lives.
