Deborah Jockin

Deborah Jockin, LCSW, is a mental health therapist with over two decades at Behavioral Healthcare of Fredericksburg. She treats children to adults, couples, and families for trauma, grief, parenting challenges, identity formation, marital discord, depression, anxiety, and PTSD. She primarily uses client-centered, cognitive-behavioral, and solution-focused techniques within an eclectic, evidence-informed approach.

She holds an MSW from the University of Pittsburgh with a specialization in child and adolescent mental health and is pursuing a DSW at the University of Pennsylvania, researching character strengths as protective factors in adolescents with non-suicidal self-injury.
