Currently pursuing her Doctorate in Clinical Social Work (DSW) at the University of Pennsylvania's School of Social Policy and Practice, Mrs. Jockin continues to expand her expertise in evidence-based mental health treatment. Her ongoing research focuses on character strengths as protective factors in adolescents with non-suicidal self-injury, demonstrating her commitment to advancing the field of mental health care.

Mrs. Jockin's educational background is robust, with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Allegheny College (1988) and a Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh (1992), where she specialized in mental health treatment for children and adolescents. As an active member of the National Association of Social Workers, she adheres strictly to the profession's code of ethics, ensuring the highest standards of care for her clients.

In her practice, Mrs. Jockin emphasizes the importance of psychoeducation, helping clients understand the nature of mental illness, including both biological and environmental factors.
