With a commitment to serving the Black community, women of color, and all marginalized peoples, Cle'tse Searle, MEd LPC, CASDCS, brings over a decade of experience to her role as a Licensed Professional Counselor and founder of Mind Your Therapy. Cle'tse's diverse background, which includes work in community, outpatient, and inpatient settings, as well as experience as a former Public School Special education elementary teacher, uniquely positions her to provide comprehensive mental health support.
Cle'tse's expertise lies in working with children, teens, adults, and families who are navigating the complexities of ADHD or ASD. Her approach is rooted in person-centered therapy, emphasizing compassion and acceptance. By utilizing a combination of Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and play therapy, Cle'tse tailors her methods to meet the individual needs of each client.
Education plays a significant role in Cle'tse's practice. She earned her Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lamar University, building upon her foundation as a special education teacher. This blend of educational and clinical experience allows her to bring a unique perspective to her therapeutic work, especially when addressing the needs of neurodivergent individuals and their families.
