With a compassionate approach that prioritizes trust and rapport, Claude King, LCPC, AMFT, creates a comfortable, non-judgmental space for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings. As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, Claude brings 7 years of clinical experience to his practice, specializing in trauma, anxiety/stress, depression, parenting issues, and sexual acting out behaviors.

Claude's therapeutic approach is relational, collaborative, and client-centered. He believes in acting as a guide for his clients as they navigate life's stressors, reprocess distressing experiences, and increase self-awareness. Moving at a pace comfortable for each individual, Claude gently nudges clients along their journey, employing humor, genuineness, and unconditional positive regard.

In addition to his core specialties, Claude has undergone specialized training in Eye-Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy and completed a 40-hour Domestic Violence Training. This diverse skill set allows him to address a wide range of client needs effectively. Claude's experience spans working with children as young as 5 and adults as old as 75, though most of his work focuses on teens aged 12-18 and adults.

Claude takes pride in his cultural competence, having worked with a wide spectrum of ages, races, and ethnicities. His practice is inclusive, welcoming clients from all walks of life. He has a particular interest in issues affecting Black males, further demonstrating his commitment to diverse populations.

With a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from the Adler School of Professional Psychology, Claude combines academic knowledge with practical experience to provide comprehensive care.
