Dr. Mintz's journey in behavioral analysis began with her rigorous academic preparation, earning both her master's and doctoral degrees in psychology from the University of Nevada Reno in 2001 and 2003, respectively. Her commitment to excellence in the field is further exemplified by her Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential, which she has held since 2004, showcasing her long-standing dedication to the highest standards of practice in behavioral analysis.

Throughout her career, Dr. Mintz has amassed a wealth of experience across various settings, each contributing to her comprehensive understanding of ABA therapy and its applications. She has served in pivotal roles, including as a chief behavior analyst at a large adult residential facility, a school consultant, and a clinical director for a private autism early intervention program. These diverse experiences have equipped her with a unique perspective on the application of ABA principles across different age groups and environments.

Dr. Mintz's leadership abilities came to the forefront when she assumed the role of Executive Director for a multi-state autism services organization. In this capacity, she orchestrated a successful acquisition by a national provider, demonstrating her strategic acumen in addition to her clinical expertise. Following this achievement, she served as the Vice President of Clinical Operations for the Pacific Northwest until 2021, further expanding her impact on autism services on a regional scale.

Currently, Dr. Mintz holds the esteemed position of Chief Clinical Officer at Action Behavior Centers, where she leads the charge in providing top-tier ABA therapy services to children and families across Texas, Arizona, and Colorado. In this role, she oversees the implementation of individualized treatment plans, ensuring that each child receives care tailored to their unique developmental needs and goals.

Beyond her clinical work, Dr. Mintz has been a driving force in advancing the field of behavioral analysis through her involvement in professional organizations. She has served as president of the Washington Association for Behavior Analysis and co-chaired its legislative committee, playing a crucial role in the passage of a behavior analyst licensure bill in 2015. This legislative accomplishment underscores her commitment to establishing and maintaining high standards within the profession.

Dr. Mintz's influence extends nationally, as evidenced by her recent presidency with the Association of Professional Behavior Analysts (APBA), where she continues to serve as an active board member. Her involvement in these organizations reflects her dedication to shaping the future of ABA therapy and ensuring that practitioners across the country adhere to the highest ethical and professional standards.

At Action Behavior Centers, Dr. Mintz leads a team that implements 1:1 ABA therapy following individualized treatment plans created by Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
