Celeste's diverse background uniquely positions her to address complex mental health needs. Her expertise spans chronic pain and illness management, ADHD treatment, depression and mood disorders, trauma recovery, support for cancer survivors, grief and loss counseling, and anxiety and stress management. This comprehensive skill set allows her to tailor her approach to each client's individual needs.

A firm believer in the power of existing strengths, Celeste employs a supportive and accepting therapeutic style. She reinforces the concept that clients can improve their lives by utilizing the tools they already possess in healthier, more constructive ways. Celeste's educational background is as impressive as it is diverse. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology (1988) and a Master's of Behavioral Sciences (1990) from Cameron University in Lawton, Oklahoma. She further honed her skills with a Master's of Science in Counseling Psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi, Hattiesburg, in 1992. Her internship at the Center for Cognitive Rehabilitation at East Jefferson Hospital in Metarie, Louisiana, provided her with valuable hands-on experience.

In her practice, Celeste draws from a variety of counseling techniques to best serve her clients. She is well-versed in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, behavior management, and play therapy. This diverse toolkit allows her to adapt her methods to suit each client's unique situation and preferences.

As a native of North Carolina and a long-time resident of Guilford County, Celeste brings a deep understanding of the local community to her practice. Her commitment to mental health extends beyond individual therapy, as she also has experience working with families of individuals diagnosed with chronic mental illness.
