With over two decades of experience in private practice counseling, Bobby Jessup, LPC, LMFT, brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role at ABT Counseling. Bobby's journey in the field of mental health began with a Bachelor of Science degree from Virginia Tech, followed by a Master of Arts degree from Liberty University. His commitment to professional development led him to become a Licensed Professional Counselor in 2000 and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in 2006. Since 1997, ABT Counseling has been his professional home, where he has honed his skills and developed his distinctive counseling style.

As a counselor, Bobby works with individuals, couples, and families, addressing a wide range of issues including depression, anxiety, anger management, marital problems, blended family dynamics, and parenting challenges. His strong pro-marriage bias is evident in his approach to couples therapy, where he employs proven techniques to enrich marriages and rebuild relationships damaged by anger, loss of love, distrust, and infidelity. Bobby believes that no effort should be spared in saving a marriage and family, a philosophy that guides his work with couples.

Bobby's expertise extends to various other areas, including addiction (such as pornography, digital/gaming, and gambling), codependency, grief and loss, men's issues, mood disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, premarital counseling, and stress management.
