From collegiate athlete to mental health pioneer, Becky Meline, LIMHP MGCP, has channeled her passion for sports into a thriving therapy practice that bridges the gap between athletic performance and mental wellness. As the founder of Focus Therapy & Performance Coaching, Becky has created a unique space where clinical counseling and sports psychology seamlessly intersect.

Becky's journey began at the University of South Dakota, where she excelled as a student-athlete, earning her bachelor's degree in psychology while simultaneously dominating on the volleyball court. Her athletic prowess was evident in her four-year starting position and her 11-year hold on the university's career kill record. Becky's exceptional performance earned her the titles of Conference Player of the Year and Female Athlete of the Year for USD in 2004, culminating in her induction into the Coyote Hall of Fame in 2022.

Building on her athletic foundation, Becky pursued further education at the University of Nebraska-Omaha, laying the groundwork for her clinical expertise. With over 14 years of experience in the clinical field, she has honed her skills working with adults and specializing in the treatment of adolescents and children. However, it was Becky's enduring passion for working with athletes that led her to establish Focus Therapy in 2017, realizing her dream of combining clinical counseling with performance coaching.

As a licensed clinician with a Sports Psychology Certification in Mental Game Coaching, Becky offers a comprehensive approach that integrates mental health expertise with athletic performance enhancement. Her practice has expanded to include a team of talented providers, serving not only athletes but anyone seeking to optimize their mental wellbeing and personal performance. Becky works with individual athletes and teams across the country, equipping them with skills to overcome adversity and reach their highest potential.
