From a young age, Annette Navarro felt a calling to break down barriers in mental health treatment. Now, as a dedicated therapist at Pachamama Therapy Collective in Sacramento, CA, Annette brings her passion for equality and compassion to her work with BIPOC and LGBTQ+ individuals and couples.

Annette's journey in psychology began at the age of 13, driven by a desire to address the inequality and stigma surrounding mental health treatment. Her exploration of the field led her to discover the critical intersections between mental health, the criminal justice system, and marginalized communities. This realization shaped her career path and fueled her commitment to providing genuine care and assistance to underserved populations.

With a Master's degree in Forensic Psychology, Annette has honed her skills in representing and connecting with clients who share her background. Her approach is rooted in education, advocacy for mental health equality, and deep compassion for her communities. Annette specializes in trauma and anxiety therapy, offering tailored support to BIPOC and LGBTQ+ individuals and couples.

At Pachamama Therapy Collective, Annette contributes to a team of culturally affirming, trauma-informed, and somatic-based counselors. The collective is dedicated to helping clients navigate anxiety, trauma, and relationship issues, with a particular focus on affirming the LGBTQ+ community and those in poly/non-monogamous relationships.
