With nearly two decades of experience in the mental health field, Dr. Amy Dahl brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role as a Licensed Psychologist. Specializing in individual therapy for adults, Dr. Dahl's approach is rooted in client-centered, supportive, and cognitive-behavioral techniques, tailoring treatment to meet each individual's unique needs.

Dr. Dahl's extensive educational background includes a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology obtained in 2005 and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology completed in 2010. This strong academic foundation, combined with her practical experience, allows her to address a wide range of treatment concerns effectively. Her areas of expertise encompass anxiety, depression, co-dependency, grief, adjustment issues, stress management, domestic violence, relationship issues, and substance abuse.

Throughout her career, Dr. Dahl has gained valuable experience working in diverse settings. Early in her professional journey, she worked in a sub-acute detoxification unit and at two different residential treatment centers, providing her with a comprehensive understanding of various treatment modalities and client needs.

Dr. Dahl's therapeutic philosophy centers on creating a supportive, safe, and collaborative environment where clients feel empowered and free from judgment. She recognizes that building a strong therapeutic relationship takes time and patience, and she is committed to fostering an atmosphere where clients can authentically explore their challenges and work towards personal growth.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, running, listening to music, hiking, and being near Lake Michigan.
