A'Lea's journey in the helping professions began with providing case management to homeless and low-income families. This experience opened her eyes to the pressing need for mental health and substance abuse services, inspiring her to dedicate her career to addressing these critical issues. Now, she specializes in guiding clients through a wide range of challenges, including addiction, anger management, anxiety, depression, grief, impulsivity, low self-esteem, sleep disturbances, strained relationships, and trauma.

With a master's degree in Clinical Social Work from Florida Gulf Coast University, A'Lea is currently pursuing licensure, demonstrating her commitment to ongoing professional development. Her approach to therapy is both client-centered and eclectic, drawing from various therapeutic modalities to meet each client's unique needs. A'Lea incorporates techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Solution Focused Therapy (SFT) into her practice.

A'Lea's commitment to creating a safe and understanding therapeutic environment allows clients to share openly and grow at their own pace. She firmly believes in the power of the therapeutic relationship and strives to foster a strong connection with each individual she works with. This approach, combined with her diverse skill set, enables A'Lea to offer personalized treatment plans that address the whole person – mind, body, and spirit.

Serving individuals from age 13 to end of life, A'Lea specializes in substance abuse and mental health issues.
