Dr. Roy Sugarman, Ph.D., is a Neuroscientist and Inventor, currently serving as the Chief Neuroscientist at BoxPlay. He also holds the position of Acting Director of Psychology at the Royal Rehabilitation Centre in Sydney and is a Conjoint Senior Lecturer in Psychiatry at the University of New South Wales, Australia.

With a background in Clinical Psychology and Neuropsychology, Dr. Sugarman applies his expertise to enhance the performance of both individuals recovering from injury and elite professionals in athletics, military, and corporate settings. His current work with Transhuman Inc. focuses on improving mental health through the Social Health Innovations division. This initiative, founded by Amanda Johnstone, earned her recognition as one of Time Magazine’s Next Generation Leaders in 2019 and CEO Magazine’s Startup CEO of the Year.
